Motion Graphics Gallery
The following three projects were completed as part of an introductory Adobe After Effects course. Throughout the course, I learned the principles of animation which I applied to transform static designs into motion, and developed practical proficiency in Adobe After Effects to produce expressive motion graphics.
Adopt Not Shop PSA: This animation combines original vector illustrations and photography with a custom audio track featuring a self-written and recorded script layered with complementary music. I also explored various animation effects to create an engaging and playful yet effective pro-adoption PSA.
Animated Amsterdam Postcard: Challenged by a limited color palette, I designed vector assets in Adobe Illustrator and animated them in Adobe After Effects using looping motion and object masks to create a dynamic and stylized portrait of the city Amsterdam.
Beach Day: This series of simplified icons with a cohesive color palette were created in Adobe Illustrator and animated in Adobe After Effects using different principles of animation like anticipation, follow through and overlap, easing, exaggeration, and more.
